Eton Road, Datchet -
a Job in Progress
This project involved the replacement of derelict
stables at the end of the garden with a new building
containing Games Room, Kitchen, Shower Room and two
further rooms.
The roof was deigned to be as low
as possible, while retaining maximum headroom internally.
Fakro roof windows were used in the
rear slope to maximise internal light.
As the main house was approximately
60 metres away, a pumped system was installed to remove
waste from the Shower Room and Kitchen to the mains
drainage. Power cables were laid to connect directly
to the roadside supply.
With
the help of an enthusiastic and involved client, and
the design expertise of Stribling & Partners,
(Architects, Eton), we feel we can add this to our
list of “Jobs Well Done”.
